Alexandra Russell is a visual artist specializing in charcoal, paint, pastels, and photography. She's also a creative strategist working alongside top brands and agencies within fashion, beauty, entertainment, and retail. Her aim is to create compelling stories that highlight the PoC community through an artistic and insight-driven lens.

PROJECTS

Nike x Fresh AF1 Tour

  • Led the strategic direction of a 5 city multi-stop tour to celebrate the impact of Nike’s Air Force 1 on hip-hop and basketball culture within Black and Brown communities. We partnered with Nike affiliated boutiques to bring the activation to life supplemented by social content for promotion and event recaps. The project also included content strategy, experiential design, shoe customization, gift with purchase, production, and celebrity involvement. 

 

Nike x UNKNWN x Art Basel

  • Led the strategic direction of Nike and UNKNWN Miami’s 4th annual Courtyard Classic during Art Basel. This was the ultimate mashup of community, art, and celebration while positioning Nike and key product launches within the excitement of Art Basel. We brought the tournament to life through content creation, experiential design, Nike catalyst strategy, and production. See Recap Video Here

   

 

 

Nike Jam Launch

  • Led the strategic direction of an interview on @NikeWomen to promote the launch of the Nike Jam shoe which is specifically made for break dancers. In order to celebrate the first year breakdancing is being recognized as a sport in the Olympics. We aimed to highlight the artistry within athleticism combined with the process behind the shoe’s design process. See Interview Here.

Travis Scott x AJ1 Low

  • Partnered with Travis Scott’s Alma Mater and gifted the graduating senior class of Elkins High the newly released “Elkins” Jordan 1 Lows. We led the planning, execution, production, and strategic facilitation of students’ surprise. See COMPLEX Coverage Here

Kith x Converse Weapon

  • We partnered with Kith to celebrate the relaunch of the Converse Weapon. I helped lead the strategy through providing an elevated touch to an OG silhouette. The project included experiential design and strategic direction.
